Andrew Strijk

The West Coast Eagles have given 22 year old Andrew Strijk an opportunity to live his AFL dream, after being selected with pick 27 in the 2009 AFL Rookie Draft.

Strijk has shown his versatility throughout his years with West Perth in the WAFL, playing in numerous small role positions on the field.

Known mostly for his attack off half back in 2009, Strijk has a deadly accurate and penetrating right boot that can hit a team mate on the chest up close or over long distances.

Often pushing up into the midfield, Strijk averaged 17 disposals and seven marks for West Perth this year.

Strijk is equally as damaging in front of goals, both from a set shot or on the run.
